Dubai has a very efficiently manged Transport system .
Dubai Offers Buses , Metro , Cabs .
Buses going almost everywhere for as low as 0.80$ one way fare , are air conditioned and even the bus stops too .
Bus Transport comes with a blessing called RTA Dubai .
Its an app where you can plan your travel within UAE . Its a very useful app helping in planning how to get to From Point A to B in the easiest , cheapest & Fastest way .

Dubai Metro
Dubai metro is the backbone of Dubai Transport . All you have to do is buy a "Nol Card " .Which is a card holding credit for you . It can be recharged easily at those recharge machines at any metro staion which can be done in a jiffy . Nol card is also useful while using buses .
Though if you are staying for less than a weeks time and you know that you wont be taking metro often dont get yourself a nol card . instead buy ticket upon entry which is slightly expensive but fine for tourists .
Dubai Cabs/Taxi
Dubai Cab drivers are registered and monitored by GPS at all times . They are very much safe 24 hours a day . All nice , spacious & non smoking cars .The fares in taxi is obviously more than any other transport but the fare is GPS governed also .Hence , you dont need to bargain with the drivers .
Nol Card can also be used in some taxis . Cabs are easily available & can also be booked .
The cabs are maintained by Government .
Note :
1) You might think it is better to rent a car but trust me its not cheap at all . Also,brings alot parking & many other problems .
2) Always rent a house/room keeping in mind the nearest metro station . It gets very easy if you're living near one .
